Maison Baguès’s art lighting is built on a structure of ironwork, bronze or brass. The Maison works with a range of materials and ornaments that filter, reflect or dress the light: Bohemian crystal, rock crystal, topaz, amethyst, alabaster, glass or porcelain flowers.
Fine ironwork is gilded with gold or silver leaf, sometimes patinated or painted in the traditional way for an aged look. Bronze comes in more than thirty standard shades, from hot or cold patina to silver, nickel, chrome or 24-carat gilding. Bespoke finishes can also be made from a sample, and all can receive a standard or marine varnish.
